What this directory provides

Charter Schools Directory is an independent reference directory. It is not a school, school network, district, government agency, admissions office, counselor, or education professional. Listings and guides are not recommendations, legal advice, admissions advice, or a promise of a particular school experience.

Information and verification

School records are compiled from public sources described on our Data sources page. Public information can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Grades, enrollment, programs, applications, transportation, meals, and availability may change. Confirm important details with the school and relevant state or federal source before relying on them.

Third-party links and maps

Links to schools, agencies, NCES, Google Maps, and other third-party sites are provided for convenience. Those sites control their own content, terms, privacy practices, admissions decisions, and availability. We do not control or guarantee them. Google Maps content is supplied under Google’s Maps Platform Terms and Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms.

Advertising and analytics

Analytics and any advertising are described in our Privacy notice. We do not ask users to click advertisements, and paid placement is not presented as an editorial recommendation. Advertising does not change school data or directory inclusion.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to scrape around technical controls, overload the service, impersonate a school or user, submit unlawful or harmful material, or collect sensitive student information. Automated access must respect applicable law and the site’s technical instructions.

Availability and liability

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages arising from use of the site or reliance on a listing. Nothing here excludes a responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
